PMY Group is building analytics that turn data into better decisions and a better venue experience. As a Client Facing Data Analyst (onsite in Culver City, CA), you will help clients define meaningful KPIs, shape reporting that teams can trust, and use modern AI-assisted analytics to accelerate insights. The work spans performance, commercial, and operational data, with opportunities to collaborate across engineering and cross-functional groups.
What you'll do
- Collect, analyze, and report data from multiple sources to produce accurate, actionable insights.
- Run regular data quality checks to maintain accuracy and integrity across data pipelines.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that support strategic decision-making.
- Use natural language AI tools for ad hoc data exploration to speed up discovery and guide inquiry.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports that monitor KPIs and key metrics.
- Present findings clearly to clients and stakeholders, translating analysis into business-ready recommendations.
- Build dashboard and reporting proofs of concept using tools such as Google Gemini in Looker and Amazon Q in QuickSight when appropriate.
- Partner with clients to verbalize business goals, establish KPIs, and keep those metrics aligned as goals evolve.
- Own analytics end-to-end: data validation, dashboard development, and delivery of insights to stakeholders.
- Proactively improve reporting, refine KPIs, and surface recommendations that support both operational and strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with engineering to provide clients access to agents trained on their data (for example, Google BigQuery Agent Analytics, Amazon Redshift/Bedrock/Q, Azure Synapse/ML).
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and deliver analytical support aligned with project goals.
- Contribute to data-driven strategies and initiatives across multiple projects, including project improvement methods, benchmarking, and change management.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support evolving business needs.
