Job summary

TRUSTEQ GmbH is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in the United States who will work hands-on with banks, insurers, and regulated clients. You will be embedded in client IT/security teams, owning the technical approach and turning demos into production-ready solutions.

You’ll design architectures, evaluate security products, and integrate existing tools where possible. Strong German and English (C1) and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering, natural science or comparable hands-on experience.
• Have built software used by others at work, in projects or startups.
• Can join straight from university; for senior level, at least 2 years of professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients, often embedded in their IT and security teams.
• Build prototypes and applications around cybersecurity and AI from demo to production.
• Design architectures and make fundamental technical decisions for client solutions.
• Evaluate security products and startups and help clients choose effective options.
• Integrate existing solutions where suitable, and leverage AI tools with caution.
• Turn results into proposals and follow-on engagements to evolve our cyber service portfolio.
• Contribute ideas to internal initiatives to improve reusability and tooling.
