Job summary

EY is seeking an Associate Director in the Forward Deployed Engineering team to lead AI/ML solution delivery for client environments in a hybrid work model. The role blends hands-on engineering with leadership to advance strategy, architecture, prototyping, and production-scale deployments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML solution delivery.
• Proven experience delivering scalable AI/ML solutions in client-facing or collaborative roles.
• Solid expertise in ML, generative AI, NLP, CV, data platforms and big data technologies.
• Cloud-native development, microservices, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficiency with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP.
• DevOps practices including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), monitoring and logging.
• Exposure to multi-agent orchestration or cognitive harness patterns.
• Consulting or technical delivery experience with enterprise clients.
• Ability to contribute to complex technical engagements with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client stakeholders and technical teams to support AI and data strategy initiatives.
• Develop and deploy AI/LLM-powered applications using RAG and agent frameworks; prototype to production demos.
• Support technical growth opportunities and articulate AI/ML value in client engagements.
• Mentor junior engineers and data scientists within cross-functional pods; promote innovation and best practices.
