Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in Chicago, IL to bridge client needs and engineering teams, delivering software solutions and traveling to customer sites as needed.

Required: 5+ years in software/data/ML engineering, strong Python/SQL, and experience with cloud-native apps, data pipelines, and APIs. Familiarity with AI tech (LLMs, RAG, AI agents) is highly desirable. Hybrid work flexibility offered.

• 5+ years in Software/Data/ML/Solutions/Forward Deployed Eng.
• Experience with external customers to define requirements & deliver software.
• Experience leading discovery sessions, workshops, architecture discussions.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; cloud-native apps & data pipelines.
• Familiar with AI tech incl. LLMs, RAG, AI agents, or agentic workflows.
