North Shore Pediatric Therapy in Chicago (Bucktown) seeks a Family Child Advocate to be the calm in the chaos, handling schedule changes, parent questions, and updates so families feel supported and clinicians can focus on care. This is a full-time, in-center role with a 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM schedule.

Approximately 50% of your time is spent in the community building relationships, driving outreach, and guiding families through the therapy process.

At North Shore Pediatric Therapy, that person is the Family Child Advocate (FCA) — the calm in the chaos, the voice of reassurance, the behind-the-scenes orchestrator ensuring every child gets the care they deserve and every clinician walks into a day that runs smoothly.

When a parent is overwhelmed, a child needs an urgent reschedule, or a clinic is juggling 30 moving pieces at once… you’re the one who turns stress into solutions.

This is a full-time, in-center position with a schedule of 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.You’ll primarily work from our Chicago (Bucktown), IL location. Approximately 50% of your time will be spent in the community building relationships. Compensation ranges from $21-25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do

Family Experience & Operations

• Be the go-to support for families (schedule changes, questions, updates)
• Turn cancellations into makeups and keep schedules running smoothly
• Make real-time adjustments as things shift
• Partner with Clinical Directors and therapists
• Keep the clinic organized, stocked, and running efficiently

Marketing & Growth (≈50%)

• Support local outreach efforts (schools, events, community partners)
• Help coordinate and host tours for prospective families
• Assist with center events and family engagement initiatives
• Drive online reputation (reviews, testimonials, family follow-ups)
• Partner with leadership on simple, high-impact marketing efforts
• Be the face of the center in the community
