Job summary

IMA Financial Group is seeking a Client Executive in Chicago to provide strategic oversight for mid-to-large, high-revenue clients, delivering consultative benefits strategy and lifecycle management. You will partner with Producers, support business development, and mentor operational teams to optimize client programs and outcomes.

Key strengths include executive presence, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Active Life & Health License required.
  • 5+ years relevant experience in client executive roles.
  • Self-insurance and compliance knowledge necessary.
  • Knowledge of OE guide applications and self-funded plan structures.
  • Ability to develop budgets and ROI models for benefits programs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a strategic book of medium-to-large clients with consultative benefits strategies.
  • Lead advanced client lifecycle management including contract negotiation and issue resolution.
  • Support prospecting and collaborate with Producers on growth initiatives.
  • Build and maintain carrier relationships to deliver optimal client outcomes.
  • Coach and mentor Client Managers and peers.

Job description

The Client Executive provides strategic oversight for mid‑to‑large, high‑revenue clientsrequiringconsultative benefits strategy and advanced lifecycle management. This role partners closely with Producers, supports business development, andmentorsoperational teams whileoptimizingclient programs and outcomes.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIESinclude but are not limited to:
  • Book of Business: Managing or oversight of a strategic book of medium-to-large clients with moderate-to-high revenue value, typically self-funded with customized plansthatrequireconsultative engagement and customized benefit strategies.

  • Leadsadvanced client lifecycle management, including contract negotiation, escalated issue resolution, and program optimization.

  • Supports prospecting efforts and collaborate with Producers on strategic growth initiatives.

  • Builds andmaintainsstrongcarrierrelationships to deliveroptimalclient outcomes.

  • Develops budgets and ROI models for benefits programs.

  • Coaches,mentors, and guides across Client Managers and peers.

Salary Range

$100,000—$200,000 USD
