We are a fast-growing estate planning, probate, and fiduciary litigation law firm looking for an experienced salesperson (also called the Client Engagement Specialist) to ensure that the firm is always putting its best foot forward for potential new clients.
Benefits include paid holidays, paid time off, health insurance coverage, dental and vision insurance, and the option to participate in our retirement savings plan with employer match. We pay 100% of the premiums for medical, dental, and vision benefits.
Compensation
$150,000+ (on-target earnings based on performance)
Qualifications
- Our ideal candidate will have:
- A demonstrated record of success selling high-end professional services or products
- Inside sales experience
- The ability to build and nurture relationships with potential new clients
- The ability to interact with different types of personalities
- Compassion and empathy for potential clients, and put them at ease
- Knowledge of how to close a sale by creating urgency and promoting value
- Exceptional communication skills in person, over the phone, and in writing
- The flexibility to not get discouraged when things don't go as planned
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn about new topics (like Wills, Trusts, and Probate)
- Real-life experience and a few "battle scars" providing empathy and understanding are assets. Experience overcoming a major obstacle in life and making an important change in your life, so you know at your core that others can do it too, is a plus.
- The salesperson doesn't give legal advice, so legal experience is not required. Prior sales and customer service experience is required because we need someone who is caring and empathic, especially toward people suffering from dementia, other progressive diseases, and who are faced with end-of-life decision-making.
- We are looking for a team player with the creativity and organization to help us expand our business. The person we hire must bring a high level of energy, positivity, and a can-do attitude to work every day.
Responsibilities
- This position will:
- Conduct initial client consultations to sell legal services for estate planning and probate
- Follow up with potential new clients who have not yet retained us
- Manage the end-to-end sales process from consultation to hand-off to the legal team, as well as data tracking
