Job summary

NielsenIQ is seeking a Client Director to lead a team of Client Managers, ACMs, and Analysts in driving commercial growth and delivering client value. The role is hybrid, onsite weekly in Bentonville, AR, and requires deep retail expertise with strong analytics.

You will guide teams to deliver insights using NIQ tools, manage client relationships at VP level and above, and collaborate across departments to expand revenue opportunities. BA/BS is required, with 10+ years in CPG/market research.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), CPG Retail, and/or market research industry required.
  • 3+ years’ experience in directly managing, mentoring, and leading associates.
  • Strong analytic aptitude and ability to apply analytic products to CPG/CPG Retail issues.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing team responsible for creating integrated analyses supporting client initiatives.
  • Present analyses to senior-level client contacts with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on NIQ products and merchandising analytics to support strategic issues (Pricing, Promotion, Assortment, etc.).
  • Maintain and build productive client relationships with key contacts.
  • Collaborate with NIQ teams to develop tools and identify revenue opportunities beyond contracted services.

Have you ever walked down an aisle in your local grocery store and wondered why your favorite beverage or food product moved? At NielsenIQ, we work with U.S. retailers to help them understand their consumers and to optimize their business down every aisle. We are looking to add a Client Director to our Retail team who will be accountable to drive commercial growth and deliver value to the client.

This is a hybrid role and requires being onsite weekly in Bentonville, AR

The Client Director will lead a team of Client Managers, ACMs and Analysts, guiding and coaching them to support clients toanalyzedata throughuse of NIQ tools and services,based on NIQ standards and service model to ensure clients are delivered insights on industries, markets and consumers so that they make informed business decisions. Natural organic retail expertise isrequired, with proven analyticproficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team whois responsible forcreating integrated analyses in support of client's strategic initiative.
  • Present analyses to senior-levelclient contacts with actionable insights and recommendations for the client's business.
  • Proactively provide subject matterexpertiseon our products and the merchandising analytics domain to clients in support of strategic client business issues including Pricing, Promotion,Assortmentand other merchandising analytics domains.
  • Maintain and build productive business relationships with key client contacts.
  • Work collaboratively with other NIQ teams, including specialty sales, operations, data science, product, to further develop existing tools andidentifyrevenue opportunities outside of contracted services.

  • Strong analytic aptitude with the ability to apply analytic products to CPG/CPG Retail industry business issues.

  • Successfully manage end-to projects, from approach/design to delivery of insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver impactful client presentations.
  • Proven ability to build andmaintainstrong working relationships with key stakeholders and senior leadership (VP level and above), both internally and externally.
  • Skilled at influencing and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong senseof urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes while managing multiple priorities.
  • Expertproficiencyin NIQ tools and datasets.
  • Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • BA/BSrequired.

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range:$114,800.00 - $153,750.00. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
