Our client is a "global knowledge solutions" company.

They have an opening for a Client Director (indiv. contributor) who will help them expand their impact in the financial services sector. This role is about more than just closing deals—it’s about understanding complex client needs, building trust, and shaping meaningful solutions that deliver real business value.

The Role:

You'll lead the charge in identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities with large financial organizations. You’ll work closely with strategy, design, and delivery teams to shape tailored solutions that solve real client problems. You’ll also help expand existing accounts by spotting opportunities and building long-term relationships.

This is a collaborative, high-impact role that requires confidence, curiosity, and a real passion for helping clients succeed.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and manage a pipeline of high-quality opportunities within large financial organizations
  • Lead client conversations from first contact through to proposal and close
  • Collaborate with internal teams to shape custom learning solutions aligned to client goals
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
  • Stay close to market trends in L&D and financial services to position us ahead of the curve
  • Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and presentations
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the sales strategy, materials, and messaging

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or consulting— specifically in learning & development, HR tech, or professional services.
  • Experience of working with/supporting large financial institutions
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills—you can simplify complex ideas and tell a compelling story
  • Highly collaborative—you bring others in early and work well across teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset—you’re proactive, resilient, and energized by building something
  • Growth mindset—you’re curious, reflective, and always looking to get better
  • Passion for people development, learning, and solving real business problems
  • Experience selling digital or blended learning solutions
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles and consultative selling techniques
  • Understanding of key L&D challenges in financial services (e.g. regulatory training, talent development, future skills)
  • Please note, this is a highly consultative role and you should be consultative in nature.
