Job summary

Inmar Inc. is seeking a Client Development Representative to drive new business and expand relationships within Baton Rouge’s pharmacy community. You will present Inmar’s Rx Returns and Compliance Solutions, building deep client connections and ensuring superior service.

The role requires daily on-site visits and strong sales and territory management skills. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in sales or client development, a relevant degree, and CRM experience (Salesforce preferred).

  • 2+ years experience in sales, client development, or territory management, healthcare focus ideal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite; Salesforce or other CRM platforms preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required; daily in-person visits to pharmacies.

Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect and engage new clients in healthcare, hospitals, and pharmacies; present solutions and identify needs.
  • Serve as main contact for clients; provide education on regulatory compliance and service offerings; travel within territory for on-site support.
  • Maintain CRM data; analyze trends to inform sales strategies and territory performance.

Job description

As a key member of the Healthcare Sales Team, the Client Development Representative is responsible for driving new business growth and expanding relationships with existing clients in an assigned territory. This role focuses on prospecting and selling Inmar’s Rx Returns and Compliance Solutions, while providing superior customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in sales, client engagement, and territory management, with the ability to develop meaningful connections with clients and consistently meet sales goals. Candidates must reside in the Baton Rouge area, as this is a territory-based role requiring daily in-person visits to pharmacies throughout the city and region.

Key Responsibilities Sales and Client Development (70%)

Actively prospect and engage new clients in the healthcare industry, particularly hospital and independent retail pharmacies, as well as supply chain and procurement teams. Schedule and conduct impactful sales presentations to showcase Inmar’s Rx Returns and Compliance Solutions, identifying client needs and offering tailored solutions. Nurture and grow relationships with current clients, identifying opportunities to upsell additional products and services to increase account value. Maintain a consistent pipeline of sales opportunities through proactive outreach and follow-up with potential leads.

Customer Service and Territory Management (30%)

Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and providing ongoing education on regulatory compliance and service offerings. Travel within the assigned territory to provide on-site support for pharmaceutical returns, ensuring clients are equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary for compliant returns. Maintain a deep understanding of clients' needs to deliver tailored solutions and ensure customer satisfaction, fostering long‑term relationships.

Sales Activity and CRM Maintenance

Consistently update and manage client interactions and sales activities within CRM systems to ensure accurate tracking of prospects and ongoing customer engagement. Use CRM data to identify key trends and insights to inform and refine sales strategies, ensuring optimal performance in the territory.

Qualifications
  • Education: Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years in sales, client development, or territory management, with a focus on healthcare or related industries.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite; experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required because driving is an essential function of this role. Alternate transportation would not provide comparable efficiency.

Additional Responsibilities: Comply with all company policies and standards. Perform other sales‑related duties as assigned.
