Job summary

Press Ganey is seeking a Client Data Specialist (CDS) to manage data feeds from client HRIS systems and support Health Experience projects, including annual engagement surveys and pulse surveys. You will work closely with clients to define requirements and ensure timely data delivery.

You will partner with upstream and downstream teams to manage data configurations, quality checks, and issue resolution, enabling accurate insights for our healthcare and other industries.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of health care, quality improvement or project management experience

Responsibilities

  • Leads data ingress from client's HRIS to Press Ganey systems, from initial conversations through testing and finalizing data file updates
  • Advises clients on maximizing value of engagement surveys for employee, physician, and nursing projects
  • Drafts and maintains data rules to ensure accuracy and identify missing data
  • Adheres to deadlines to ensure client deliverables are executed as scheduled
  • Collaborates with client and internal teams to plan data sharing and ensure data availability for projects
  • Provides support for service failures and recovery
  • Acts as an effective member of cross-team product groups
  • Performs standard data integration configurations
  • Communicates requirements and updates to downstream teams and confirms configuration accuracy
  • Monitors status of configuration requests and escalates risks as needed
  • Ensures accurate data delivery while adhering to SOPs and quality standards
  • Tracks tasks, mitigates risks, and elevates blockers proactively
  • Documents integration decisions and maintains up-to-date records

The Client Data Specialist (CDS) is a client-facing position, functioning independently or as part of a specialized team.

The CDS is assigned to a portfolio of client accounts. The CDS is responsible for helping navigate the set up and maintenance of a regular data feed from a client's Human Resource data to support all projects within Press Ganey's Employee Experience business including annual engagement surveys for employees and physicians, milestone surveys (onboarding and exit), and self-serve pulse surveys (and future products). This role works closely with the client to formulate solutions and provide recommendations in accordance with the client's timeline and unique needs.


The CDS partners with upstream requirements owners and downstream operations teams to ensure end-to-end data integration quality, this requires ability to handle large data sets and understand, define and document data configuration requirements.



Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Leads clients through ingress of data from client's HRIS system to PG systems from initial conversations outlining process through testing and finalizing data file and update plan

  • Advises client on how to maximize the value of their partnership with Press Ganey for engagement surveys including employee, physician, and nursing-specific projects

  • Drafts and maintains data rules to ensure accurate data, identify missing data, and help client update data, as needed

  • Adheres to deadlines to ensure overall client deliverables are executed as scheduled

  • Collaborates with client and internal team to develop plans for sharing data in a timely fashion that ensure accuracy and availability of the data for projects

  • Provide support for service failures/recovery

  • Act as an effective member of a team and cross-team product group

  • Performs standard data integration configurations

  • Cascades requirements to downstream teams and checks configuration accuracy

  • Confirms requirements accuracy and completeness with upstream teams

  • Updates upstream teams of configuration request status

  • Escalates operational risks and SOP deviations to managers

  • Ensure accurate and timely data integration delivery while adhering to SOPs and quality standards

  • Track tasks, mitigate risks, and elevate blockers proactively

  • Document integration decisions and maintain up-to-date records
