Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking a client-focused benefits administrator to manage a portfolio of small employee benefits accounts in Irvine, CA. You will serve as the day-to-day contact for clients and liaise with carriers to secure accurate, timely solutions.

Responsibilities include high-volume account servicing, renewal management, and guidance on compliance topics such as ERISA, COBRA, FMLA and 5500s.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in employee benefits industry or related marketplace.
• Must hold life and disability insurance license.
• College degree preferred and customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and retain a book of assigned small employee benefits accounts; act as day-to-day contact for clients.
• Service a high volume of accounts independently and utilize carrier websites and online rating systems.
• Provide proactive, personalized support; educate and advise on compliance topics including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, 5500s and Health Care Reform.
• Respond to information requests and manage renewal processes with appropriate changes.
• Coordinate marketing and placement for new benefit offerings; compare quotes and recommend carriers.
• Communicate with clients via email, phone, and virtual meetings; develop renewal communications.
• Introduce clients to USI Benefit Resource Center and USI value-add services; maintain accurate records.
• Ensure deliverables meet standards and participate in peer reviews; stay current with industry trends.
