Project Hospitality is seeking a part-time Client Care Safety Coordinator located in Castleton - Staten Island. This role involves ensuring client safety and providing direct care in a residential building for chronically homeless individuals. The CCSC will manage security, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with case management for safety concerns.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, with strong communication skills and knowledge of homeless populations. Working hours are Saturday and Sunday from 11pm to 7am.

PART TIME: Saturday and Sunday 11pm to 7am

Position Summary

The Client Care Safety Coordinator (CCSC) is a critical position in our 47-unit residential building. The 47 studio apartments house a mixture of supported housing clients and NYC Affordable Lottery tenants. The CCSCs are responsible for ensuring client safety, providing direct care services and maintaining building safety during shift hours at this residential site housing chronically homeless individuals who have a chronic health condition (mental or physical diagnosis, and/or substance use diagnosis).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the security and safety of the building including reporting and monitoring client activities in the common areas of the building
• Report all incidents using the agency incident reporting system as well as notify appropriate personnel
• Handle any emergency situations as they arise and engage in crisis management and intervention, calling 911 and other emergency contacts as needed
• Direct visitors and handle general inquiries at the Welcome Center
• Collaborate with Case Management staff regarding client safety concerns, including but not limited to collaborative apartment inspections

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication skills both orally and in writing regarding complex and sensitive issues and regulations

In addition, Client Care Safety Coordinator shall perform any duties as required to meet the new needs of the program and the clients we serve.
