Job summary

Community Resources For Justice (CRJ) in Paxton, MA is hiring Residential Counselors for a full-time, 32-hour weekly, non-exempt role. The position offers benefits eligibility and starts at $18 per hour, with a varied schedule including evenings and weekends.

You will supervise and transport clients, help develop skills per the Individual Service Plan, model positive behavior, and assist with medications and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must pass required certifications within the agency timeline.
• Criminal and driver’s checks must be cleared.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours; includes interviews, medical appointments, recreation, services, and shopping.
• Support and teach clients new skills aligned with the Individual Service Plan.
• Act as a positive role model to improve quality of life while ensuring safety.
• Administer medications and complete documentation promptly (progress notes, summaries, attendance).
