Iowa Home Care is seeking a Scheduler to coordinate visits for clients and field staff, ensuring accurate assignments and timely service delivery.

Responsibilities include maintaining calendars, responding to inquiries, and supporting care coordination with clinicians. 3–5 years scheduling experience and 1–2 years home care preferred; HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of scheduling experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of home care experience preferred.
• Strong scheduling principles and office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling by communicating with field staff, clients, and caregivers to ensure accurate and timely visit assignments.
• Build and maintain relationships with clinicians and clients to support smooth day-to-day operations.
• Ensure physician-ordered visits are scheduled, staffed, and completed within required timeframes.
• Update calendars daily in the agency's electronic database and ensure shifts/visits are assigned and documented.
• Respond promptly to scheduling inquiries from staff, clients, and external partners.
• Run and review daily scheduling/compliance reports; address missed visits with field staff.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and assist with solutions to ensure uninterrupted service.
