Job summary

Wellspring Residential Programs seeks a compassionate Client Care Coordinator to support residents in recovery, coordinating healthcare, daily living activities, and community connections. This role emphasizes respect, confidentiality, and teamwork within a structured residential setting.

Starting pay is $21.00 per hour for a full-time, 40-hour week (8:00 AM–4:00 PM). The position reports to the Program Director and offers opportunities to develop independent living skills and community

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, human services, or related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of substance use disorders and recovery-oriented care.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build professional relationships with residents and staff.
• Compassionate, respectful, nonjudgmental approach to working with individuals in recovery.
• Maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries; sound judgment.
• Basic computer skills including email and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with admission, orientation, and daily activities in the residential program.
• Coordinate healthcare needs, medical appointments, medication orders, and medical records.
• Monitor and document resident self-administration of medications per policies and regulations.
• Help residents develop independent living skills such as budgeting and scheduling appointments.
• Connect residents with educational, vocational, employment, housing, and community services.
• Provide encouragement and practical support toward individual recovery goals.
• Coordinate transportation and use agency vehicle when necessary.
• Maintain accurate resident documentation and protect confidentiality.

Position Summary

The Client Care Coordinator supports residents in their recovery by coordinating healthcare needs, assisting with daily living activities, and helping individuals develop the skills necessary for greater independence and successful community integration.

This position works closely with residents, program staff, medical providers, and community partners to ensure residents receive the support they need to achieve their recovery goals.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working in behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, human services, or a related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and recovery-oriented care.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build positive, professional relationships with residents, coworkers, and community partners.
• A compassionate, respectful, and nonjudgmental approach to working with individuals in recovery.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, appropriate professional boundaries, and sound judgment.
• Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, and electronic documentation.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a treatment team.
• Valid driver's license.

CRMA certification is preferred but not required. Wellspring covers the cost of initial certification for the selected candidate and annual renewal fees.

What You'll Do

• Assist residents with admission, orientation, and daily activities within the residential program.
• Coordinate healthcare needs, medical appointments, medication orders, and resident medical records.
• Monitor and document resident self-administration of medications in accordance with agency policies and applicable regulations.
• Help residents develop independent living skills, including budgeting, scheduling appointments, arranging transportation, and accessing community resources.
• Connect residents with educational, vocational, employment, housing, and other community services.
• Provide encouragement, guidance, and practical support as residents work toward their individual recovery goals.
• Coordinate resident transportation and provide transportation using the agency vehicle when necessary.
• Assist with daily program operations, including room checks, urine drug screenings, meal planning, and purchasing supplies.
• Maintain accurate and timely resident documentation while protecting confidentiality.
• Help maintain a safe, supportive, and recovery-oriented residential environment.
• Collaborate with the treatment team and participate in staff meetings, case reviews, and supervision.
• Provide limited follow-up support and referrals to residents transitioning into the community.
