Job summary

Shine Bright Care in Anchorage seeks an experienced Case Manager to support consumer services, maintain files, and ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations. You will act as primary contact for consumers, guardians, and families, process intake documentation, coordinate assessments, and manage documentation flow.

The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, HIPAA awareness, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED with 2 years' experience in the healthcare field.
• Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; HIPAA compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and data processing.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with competing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for consumers, legal representatives, guardians, and families.
• Prepare documentation and attend initial and annual assessments.
• Process new consumer intake documentation.
• Request verification of diagnosis from consumer's doctor.
• Fax documentation to the State of Alaska for processing.
• Schedule and attend home visits with consumers.
