Job summary

Littler is seeking a Client Accounting Specialist - Core Billing in Kansas City, MO. The role focuses on client billing, invoice processing and distribution, and ensuring billing compliance within a cross-functional finance team.

Responsibilities include pre-bill distribution, WIP management, and responding to client inquiries. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in revenue accounting and strong Microsoft Office and Elite/Intapp Time skills, with an associate degree in accounting or related field.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or related field, or relevant experience.
• Three+ years in a high-volume revenue department, ideally in a professional services setting.
• Experience in Client Accounting / Legal Billing practices and policies.
• Proficiency with Elite and Intapp Time for data extraction, reconciliation and reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills for analysis and communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue paper and electronic invoices; monitor and resolve disputes as needed.
• Process pre-bill distribution, and manage Work-in-Process and inventory.
• Ensure billing compliance with firm policies and procedures.
• Respond to inquiries from internal/external clients and third parties.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance and other departments to meet deadlines.
