Job summary

RBC Wealth Management is seeking a Client Associate/Registered Client Associate in Los Angeles to support financial advisors and clients. You will handle onboarding, documentation, and routine trades while upholding compliance and confidentiality in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will build relationships, respond to client needs, and escalate to advisors as appropriate. A Bachelor’s degree or job-related experience and Series 7/66 licenses (or 63/65) are preferred, with growth

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients by answering account questions.

  • Maintain compliance through documentation and communications with clients.
  • Facilitate transfers, process trades, checks, wires and ACHs promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality per RBC's Code of Conduct.

Use your administrative and operational skills to help our advisors manage and grow their business. Demonstrate a client first approach as you meet compliance standards, research and resolve problems, onboard new accounts, process and maintain account records, implement technology changes and prepare correspondence in a fast paced, professional and collaborative environment.

What will you do?
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients by assisting them and answering account questions.
  • Take initiative to handle account inquiries and customer needs and elevate to financial advisors when appropriate.
  • Adhere to compliance standards by obtaining and maintaining appropriate account documentation and communicating with clients about items needed.
  • Facilitate the transfer of funds and securities, complete trades in client accounts, and process checks, wires and ACHs in a timely manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with RBC's Code of Conduct.

  • Bachelor's degree or job-related experience
  • Strong soft skills including verbal and written communication, people, organizational, and client service skills
  • Attention to detail coupled with the mindset of how you can make advisors more efficient and effective
  • Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) licenses, or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment

Salary Range

The good-faith expected salary range for the Registered Client Associate role is $49,500 - $77,000 and the Client Associate role is $44,000 - $66,000, depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. To be considered Registered, you must have the Series 7 and 66 or 63/65.

This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
