Job summary

Confidential CPA Firm in Madison, WI is seeking a Client Advisory Services Manager – Accounting & Automation to blend hands-on accounting with client guidance and process improvement. You will manage close activities, build efficient workflows, and introduce automation and AI to reduce repetitive work.

The role involves working with business owners and their teams via virtual meetings, translating financial information into actionable steps and ensuring consistent service across clients.

Qualifications

• This role requires at least 4 years of accounting experience including CAS/public advisory.
• Strong month-end close, reconciliations, and accrual accounting experience.
• Comfort explaining accounting concepts to owners without finance background.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close, reconciliations, and accrual accounting for assigned clients using NetSuite.
• Identify repetitive tasks and improve them with templates, imports, and workflows.
• Lead systems and workflow components of onboarding and accounting cleanups.
• Communicate financial information and practical improvements to business owners.
• Evaluate AI and automation tools to improve workflows and productivity.
