Job summary

Marsh seeks candidates for our open Associate Client Advisor role based in NYC, Chicago, Atlanta or Dallas. This is a hybrid role and will be required to go into the office 3x per week.

You will become a member of Marsh's Aviation team, delivering expert broking and strategy solutions to help manage risk with confidence. You will develop an understanding of clients' priorities, risk strategies and needs to provide knowledge and advice to complex clients, and support renewal/placement activities

Qualifications

• 5+ years industry experience with marine experience.
• P&C license required or ability to obtain.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead advisory colleague on medium sized, less complex books of business.
• Develop understanding of clients' business priorities, risk strategies and needs to provide advice.
• Utilize risk expertise to review exposures and develop client solutions.
• Run renewal/placement strategies with the team and client.
• Assist in presentations to prospective clients and develop innovative solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients as the primary day-to-day contact.
• Ensure quality of client deliverables and monitor delivery and invoicing.

We will count on you to:

• Acts as lead advisory colleague on medium sized, less complex books of business.
• Develops an understanding of the clients' business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs and provides advice accordingly to successfully serve clients.
• Utilizes risk expertise and knowledge of industry and insurance market place to review clients' exposures and loss experience and develop solutions for standard client needs.
• Executes renewal/placement strategies in conjunction with the Placement, Advisory Leader and Client Executive and executes in accordance with client instructions.
• Assists in presentations to prospective clients and develops/suggests innovative solutions to client and client team members to gain new clients and projects.
• Partners with Placement to receive, negotiate and evaluate quotes from carriers to deliver the best options to clients.
• Builds and maintains relationships with clients , and is the primary point of contact for day-to-day service needs.
• Maintains quality in all areas of client deliverables, including monitoring delivery and invoicing to ensure client is satisfied.
• Keeps abreast of changing market conditions and contributes to the firm's body of knowledge within product line through active internal communication.

What you need to have:

• 5+ years Industry experience along with Marine experience
• P&C license a must, or ability to obtain
• Bachelors' degree preferred

All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $92,500 to $197,100.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
