Job summary

Marsh seeks candidates for our open Associate Client Advisor position based in NYC, Chicago, Atlanta or Dallas office. This is a hybrid role and will be required to go into the office 3x per week.

You will join Marsh's Aviation team delivering broking and strategy solutions to help manage risk with confidence, develop understanding of clients' priorities, and propose innovative products and services to meet needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years industry experience with marine experience.
• P&C license required or ability to obtain.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as lead advisory colleague on medium sized, less complex books of business.
• Develops an understanding of clients' business priorities, risk strategies and management needs and provides advice accordingly.
• Utilizes risk expertise to review exposures and develop solutions for client needs.
• Executes renewal/placement strategies in conjunction with teams and client instructions.
• Assists in presentations to prospective clients and develops innovative solutions to gain new clients.
• Partners with Placement to receive, negotiate and evaluate quotes from carriers to deliver best options.
• Builds and maintains relationships with clients and is the primary day-to-day contact for service needs.
• Maintains quality in client deliverables and tracking delivery and invoicing.

We will count on you to:

• Utilizes risk expertise and knowledge of industry and insurance market place to review clients' exposures and loss experience and develop solutions for standard client needs.
• Executes renewal/placement strategies in conjunction with the Placement, Advisory Leader and Client Executive and executes in accordance with client instructions.
• Assists in presentations to prospective clients and develops/suggests innovative solutions to client and client team members to gain new clients and projects.
• Partners with Placement to receive, negotiate and evaluate quotes from carriers to deliver the best options to clients.
• Builds and maintains relationships with clients , and is the primary point of contact for day-to-day service needs.
• Maintains quality in all areas of client deliverables, including monitoring delivery and invoicing to ensure client is satisfied.
• Keeps abreast of changing market conditions and contributes to the firm's body of knowledge within product line through active internal communication.

What you need to have:

• 5+ years Industry experience along with Marine experience
• P&C license a must, or ability to obtain
• Bachelors' degree preferred

All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $92,500 to $197,100.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
