Wheeler Accountants LLP in San Jose, CA is seeking an accounting professional to join our Client Accounting Services team. You will manage recurring client work, collaborate with colleagues, and take ownership of assigned deliverables to ensure timely, accurate results.

The role emphasizes hands-on bookkeeping, payroll journal entries, bank reconciliations, and monthly closings. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of accounting experience and demonstrate technical competence in applying accounting

Formación

• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Technical competence and confidence in applying accounting knowledge.
• Experience managing accounting and bookkeeping for assigned clients, including bank reconciliations.
• Experience preparing payroll journal entries and completing work-in-progress and other month-end reconciliations.
• Experience preparing payroll tax and sales tax filings, Forms 1099, and property tax returns.
• Ability to prepare depreciation and amortization schedules.
