Job summary

HTB is seeking a Client Accounting + Advisory Services Staff to learn a variety of accounting and technical skills under senior guidance. Interns will gain hands-on accounting knowledge, meet deadlines, and demonstrate professional conduct as part of a dynamic CAAS team.

You will engage in engagements from routine accounting tasks to outsourced CFO projects, growing your expertise while supporting client success in a flexible, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting from a four‑year college or university.
• 0 to 2 years of related experience and/or training; an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Learns and assists client accounting services/consulting professionals under direction of Seniors, Supervisors, Manager, Senior Managers and Partners.
• Assists with engagements that respond to evolving client needs from daily accounting to outsourced CFO solutions.
• Becomes familiar with firm policies and procedures including accounting procedures, work paper preparation and project management.
• Keeps current on technical issues and learns to apply them to client circumstances.
• Analyzes financial data and client workflows to solve problems thoroughly and efficiently.
• Becomes proficient in the various software programs used by the firm.

About the Role

Our Client Accounting + Advisory Services Staff will learn a variety of accounting and technical skills under the supervision of different professionals.Interns will gain accounting knowledge, learn to meet deadlines and display professional conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Learns and assists client accounting services/consulting professionals under direction of Seniors, Supervisors, Manager, Senior Managers and Partners.
• Assists with engagements that respond to the evolving client needs that range from daily accounting functions to complex solutions as an outsourced CFO.
• Becomes familiar with the firm's policies and procedures including accounting procedures, work paper preparation and project management.
• Keeps current on technical issues and learns to apply them to client circumstances.
• Analyze financial data, and client workflows to solve problems thoroughly and efficiently.
• Becomes proficient in the use of the various software programs used by the firm.Also becomes familiar with the firm's technology and research tools.

Education, Experience & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting from a four-year college or university
• Zero (0) to two (2) years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Active CPA License is a plus, candidates pursuing certification are encouraged to apply
