Job summary

Morrison Foerster is seeking a Client Account Specialist to join our Global Client Accounts team. You will work with attorneys and clients on billing, e-billing, and collections, producing timely bills and supporting related processes.

Responsibilities include quality control, deadline management, and analyzing special billing arrangements. You will also assist with system upgrades and may support full cycle account management for assigned attorneys.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in law firm or professional services billing.
• Large law firm experience preferred.
• Strong financial systems skills (Elite 3E, eBillingHub).
• Experience with multi-currency bills is a plus.
• Ability to analyze billing information and historical data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Effective communication with individuals at all levels within and outside the Firm.

About The Role

It's an exciting time to join our Global Client Accounts team as a Client Account Specialist! In this role, you will work closely with our attorneys and their clients on matters related to billing, e-billing, and collections.

• Produce timely and accurate bills for clients, including e-bills, and perform specific billing and e-billing tasks and projects.
• Manage quality control, deadlines, timely reporting on billing status, and thoroughly analyze special billing arrangements.
• Act as a resource for internal clients and colleagues, troubleshoot procedural issues, and assist systems team with upgrades and testing.
• May directly support assigned billing attorneys in full cycle of account management, including account set up, billing and collection arrangements, and inventory management.

About You

• Minimum of two years in law firm or professional services billing. Large law firm experience preferred.
• Strong financial systems skills. (Elite 3E, eBillingHub).
• Experience working with multi-currency bills a plus.
• Ability to understand and analyze billing information and historical data.

San Francisco, Palo Alto, New York salary range: $70k to $92k

Los Angeles, San Diego, Washington D.C., Boston, Seattle salary range: $67k-$88k

Denver salary range: $63k-$87k
