Client Account Specialist – Financial Operations

This role can be based in San Francisco. Join MoFo’s Global Client Accounts team and work closely with attorneys and their clients on billing, e‑billing, and collections.

Responsibilities

• Produce timely and accurate bills for clients, including e‑bills, and perform specific billing and e‑billing tasks and projects.
• Manage quality control, deadlines, reporting on billing status, and analyze special billing arrangements.
• Act as a resource for internal clients and colleagues, troubleshoot procedural issues, and assist the systems team with upgrades and testing.
• Support assigned billing attorneys in the full cycle of account management, including account set‑up, billing and collection arrangements, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in law firm or professional services billing; large law firm experience preferred.
• Strong financial systems skills (Elite 3E, eBillingHub).
• Experience working with multi‑currency bills a plus.
• Ability to understand and analyze billing information and historical data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions with high accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels.

Compensation

San Francisco salary range: $70k to $92k. Additional compensation may include discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays and PTO.
