Job summary

The City of McAllen is seeking a Groundskeeper to landscape and maintain city grounds using hand or power tools. You will perform sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, and sprinkler system work.

Job description

Under immediate direction, the Groundskeeper landscapes and maintains grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. The employee typically performs a variety of manual tasks to include any combination of sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, and sprinkler systems.
