Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio is seeking a Class A Tractor-Trailer Driver for the Cleveland, OH area. The role drives agency vehicles, adheres to DOT/state/local laws, and transports donations and merchandise to and from centers and stores.

The schedule is four 10-hour days, with evenings at home and three days off each week. The position requires a Class A CDL and tow motor certification, with two years of driving experience preferred.

• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned deliveries and pickups of materials, merchandise, and mail between retail stores, ADCs, warehouses, and corporate offices
• Complete the manifest on the tablet after each pickup and delivery
• Operate your assigned vehicle safely and lawfully
• Load and unload using safe practices, and report accidents promptly
• Help with donations on site, and give donors and customers prompt, friendly service
• Fill out vehicle logs, maintenance reports, and mileage reports accurately every day
• Do routine maintenance checks, such as fluid levels, and report repair needs to the transportation manager
• Keep your vehicle clean, neat, and safe
• Attend in-service training as assigned
• Follow all safety policies
• End every donor interaction with "You changed a life today, thank you!"

Join us in making a meaningful impact in Cleveland, Ohio! Keep Goodwill's donations and merchandise moving. As a Class A Tractor-Trailer Driver, you'll follow DOT regulations and state and local traffic laws as you drive agency vehicles. You'll carry materials to and from donation centers and retail stores. This work schedule is a 1st shift, consisting of four 10-hour days. You will be home every evening and have 3 days off a week!
