Job summary

Bally's Shreveport Casino & Hotel is seeking a Gift Shop Associate to deliver friendly guest service and drive sales within our casino property. You will greet guests, help with merchandise selection and ring up transactions at the gift shop register.

This role also involves stocking and tagging merchandise, maintaining attractive displays, supporting monthly inventories, and collaborating with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better required.
• Technical/other training or equivalent preferred.
• LA Alc Compliance Trainer license required.
• Alc. Beverage Operator license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide guest service and merchandise sales in the gift shop.
• Greet guests and assist with merchandise selection.
• Ring up gift shop sales and handle all cash, credit, room charges, comps and coupons per policy.
• Stock shelves and tag merchandise.
• Maintain clean, organized displays in gift shop.
• Assist with monthly physical inventories.
• Communicate with supervisors and store staff daily.

• Responsible for guest service and sales in the gift shop.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Greet all guests and assist with merchandise selection.
• Ring up gift shop sales on the register and handle all cash, credit, room charge, comp and coupon transactions as outlined by department policies.
• Help stock shelves including tagging merchandise.
• Maintain clean and orderly displays in gift shop.
• Assist with inventory control and "hard" inventories monthly.
• Communicate with supervisors, management and retail shop cast members on a daily basis
