The position also performs clerical duties related to discovering and listing personal property for tax purposes

Primary Accountabilities

The Clerk/Data Entry person is responsible for data entry within the Appraisers Office. This position will assist the Property Tax Clerk with field surveys to gather data, interact with customers in a professional manner, and handle and resolve all issues while delivering the highest level of customer service to Ottawa County, the community, and other departments and/or agencies. This position also performs duties of clerical and skilled work relating to discovering and listing personal property within Ottawa County for tax purposes in compliance with all laws and regulations.
