RWJBarnabas Health in Lakewood, NJ is seeking a Clerk to support the Patient Satisfaction department. The role will handle front desk inquiries, guide visitors, and coordinate patient information using phone and on-site systems. Evening shift with weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Refs patient and family member concerns to the Department of Patient Satisfaction for investigations when indicated.
• Serves as a role model and mentor to volunteers and front desk personnel.
• Assists callers by providing appropriate and accurate information.
• Maintains neat and clean main lobby environment and initiates corrective action as needed.
• Ensures the professional visitor identification policy is followed at all times.
• Coordinates patient information inquiries using telephone extensions.
• Initiates contact with individuals entering through the main entrance and offers assistance to reach their destination.
• Operates the front desk and related technology and systems.
• Provides visitors with information concerning area accommodations and amenities.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

A Typical Day

• Refers patient and family member concerns to the Department of Patient Satisfaction for investigations when indicated

To Be Considered

Scheduling Requirements

• Monday through Thursday 3:00pm-8:00pm, and Friday 1:30pm-8:00pm. Weekend and evening availability required.
