Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MOis hiring a Clerkto join our staffat the Dade CountyFamily Medical Center located in Greenfield, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the area: Greenfield, MO is locatedin the heart of Southwest Missouri and serves as the county seat for DadeCounty. Greenfieldhas over sixty businesses, including shopping, beauty salons, dentistry, optometry, medical, gas stations, convenient stores, hardware/lumber store, auto parts/repairs, grocery stores, feed stores and 6 restaurants. Greenfield is abundant in wildlife and is located minutes away from Stockton Lake.

About the department:Dade County Family Medical Centersees patients of all ages for a variety of illnesses, injuries and ailments.Dade County Family Medical Center also provides walk-in hours forconvenientand quick care for people of all ages. Walk-in hours for a sudden illness or injury that needs to be treated right away. If you have a minor injury or illness, walk into the clinic with no appointment necessary from 9-11 a.m. Monday-Friday. Our qualified medical staff treats patients ages 3 months and older.

A typical day will include: Assisting in scheduling, handlingtelephone routing to staff,including making patient appointments per appropriate guidelines set forth by Provider/Clinic manager, answering inquiries relating to services and fees, simple insurance inquiries and screening emergencies.

• Providing detailed messages, processing of forms, scanning, updating appropriate consent forms.
• Updating insurance coverage, updating demographics, maintaining organization, and completing open and closing procedures. Communicatingwith providers and nursing staff.
• Assisting patientswith any questions or problems they have prior to leaving the clinic.

Job Requirements:

• Education:HS diploma
• Experience: Preferred Healthcare or clerical experience
• Licensure/Certification:N/A
• Physical: ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%

The position is:PRN Monday/Tuesday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
