Vantor is seeking a cleared UX/UI Designer to join their team in Herndon, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have strong user experience and interface design skills, collaborating with development teams on a diverse range of projects. Responsibilities include setting design strategy for web applications, meeting with clients, and participating in product meetings.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active/current TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, e.g. UX/UI Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, etc.
• 2+ years of UX/UI experience.
• Must present a strong (and preferably diverse) design portfolio!
• Knowledge and applied use of Design Thinking principles.
• Recent experience with Figma/FigJam as well as some of the following technologies: Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, InVision, Procreate.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic design for web-based applications.
• Collaborate with software development teams to create strong user experiences.
• Meet with clients to develop user empathy and collect requirements.
• Attending daily stand-ups to guide user interface direction.
• Facilitate design critiques and participate in major product meetings.
