Millennial Software Solutions Inc is seeking a cleared UX/UI Designer to join our security-focused team in Herndon, VA. You will design intuitive web applications, collaborate with engineers and clients, and translate user research into actionable interfaces.

The ideal candidate combines strong design fundamentals with empathy, knowledge of Design Thinking, and hands-on experience with Figma/FigJam, Adobe Creative Cloud, and web-based product design.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph eligibility.
• On-site work: minimum 3 days/week with 2 days remote.
• Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design or related field.
• 2+ years of UX/UI design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI work across projects.
• Proficiency with Design Thinking principles.
• Experience using Figma/FigJam.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and end-users to understand needs and gather requirements.
• Create and maintain UX/UI designs for web applications based on research and feedback.
• Apply user research methodologies to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with software teams across the product lifecycle to support implementation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and design reviews.
• Communicate design recommendations and rationale to stakeholders.
• Support consistency of the user experience across applications.
