Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer / Principal Systems Engineer to join our Systems Engineering team. The role supports multi-disciplinary engineering, defining interfaces, writing requirements, and driving system-level analyses within an IPT structure.

Locations include Oklahoma City, OK or Rancho Bernado, CA. Start is contingent on funding; strong communication and leadership skills are required to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM; 2+ years in systems engineering, or Master’s with related discipline.
• Experience with military aircraft or weapon systems design/operation and requirements verification.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance and SAP clearance within reasonable time.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements development, allocation, verification/validation planning, and interface definition.
• Write complex specs, interface control docs, and engineering reports.
• Coordinate with program leads and stakeholders across IPTs.
• Maintain systems engineering artifacts per configuration management.
• Verify and validate artifacts with stakeholders and customers.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership communications.
