Job summary

Leidos Inc. is seeking a cleared Systems Administrator to support the Beavercreek, OH office. The role involves design and buildout of laboratory infrastructure, maintaining systems, and ensuring security compliance for DoD missions.

You will work with a diverse engineering team, implement SIL systems, apply patches, and document solutions while adhering to security guidelines. A TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, system administration or related field with 2+ years of experience or a Master's with 0–2 years in the listed tech fields.
• US Citizen required for access to restricted programs.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI.
• Experience scripting in Bash and PowerShell.
• Experience managing Linux and Windows systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team and independent work ability.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment and learn new technologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain SIL systems and infrastructure for a complex network.
• Document and communicate proposed solutions with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Stay up to date on security, system and management best practices and technologies.
• Participate in network and infrastructure design/review to ensure quality delivery.
• Maintain security patches and user management according to requirements.
