Job summary

Leidos in Beavercreek, OH is seeking a cleared Software Engineer to design, develop, and test mission-critical software for DoD programs. You will work with C++, Java, Python or Go across airborne and ground systems, participate in lab, ground and flight testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS clearance and a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software/ computer engineering or related field with 4+ years of experience, or Master’s with 2+ years.
• U.S. Citizen required for clearance eligibility and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Experience in one or more languages: C++, Java, Python, or Go.
• Experience in systems integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Experience working in a SIL environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mission-critical software for airborne and ground systems.
• Participate in laboratory, ground, and flight testing to validate software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate proposed software solutions.
• Stay current with state-of-the-art programming techniques and software technologies.
• Contribute to code reviews to ensure quality and maintainable software.
