Job summary

Leidos is seeking a cleared Systems Administrator in Beavercreek, OH to support DoD missions by building and maintaining lab infrastructure, applying security guidelines, and interfacing with hardware and software systems.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, maintaining patches, and ensuring compliant operations in a fast-paced laboratory environment. A TS clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, system administration or related field.
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 0-2 years of experience in above mentioned technical fields.
• Experience with scripting in bash and PowerShell.
• Experience managing systems in both Linux and Windows environments.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain SIL systems and infrastructure for complex network.
• Document and communicate proposed solutions with integrated, cross-functional engineering teams in a fast paced highly technical environment.
• Stay up to date on security, system, and management best practices and technologies.
• Participate in network and infrastructure design and review to ensure delivery of quality products and enhance skillsets.
• Maintain security patches, user management, etc. in accordance with Leidos, government, and contract requirements.
