Bestgate Engineering, LLC is seeking an entry-level System Engineer to join a team supporting mission-focused systems and gaining hands-on experience across requirements, architecture, design, integration, and documentation. You’ll work with experienced engineers and government stakeholders to turn needs into effective solutions.

The role emphasizes training, growth, and exposure to DoDAF/DoSOA concepts, with a TS/SCI w/Poly clearance requirement and a strong foundation in systems engineering

System Engineer (Entry Level)

Join a team supporting the engineering and development of mission-focused systems. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone looking to build their Systems Engineering career while gaining hands‑on experience with requirements, system architecture, design, integration, and technical documentation. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and government stakeholders to help turn user needs into effective technical solutions.

Required

• Entry-level opportunity with training and hands-on exposure to Systems Engineering activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to understand and document system requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and technical teams.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional TE or related experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly
• Familiarity with system architecture and systems engineering concepts.
• Exposure to requirements development and management.
• Familiarity with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Exposure to system integration, testing, or implementation planning.
• Familiarity with engineering documents such as System Engineering Plans, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.

Salary Range: $ 70,000- $85,000

The final offer will be determined after carefully considering the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to the position.
