Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking Cleared Software Engineer Interns for Summer 2027 in a startup-like, agile environment. The role requires full-time on-site presence at Denver, CO, and Sterling, VA locations, with a TS/SCI with Poly clearance capability.

The Makalu internship focuses on developing modern software and UI components using current technologies, requiring collaboration within an agile team and a strong emphasis on mission-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly.
• Entry-level coding experience.
• Experience using REST-based web services.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, CSS preprocessors (SASS, Less, Stylus), or JavaScript build tools (Browserify, WebPack, Closure).
• Familiarity with Java Spring Boot.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Linux environment and Linux shell scripting.
