Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a cleared Sr. Systems (Database) Administrator to support a virtualized environment at Langley AFB. You will manage SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases, implement automated jobs, and help keep our systems secure and available.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, 6+ years in Windows admin and DB admin, and hands-on experience with SSMS, VMware, T-SQL, and PowerShell. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with RedHat Linux experience a plus.

Qualifications

• MUST have Active TS/SCI.
• Minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience as both a Windows System Administrator and Database Administrator.
• Security+ CE certification.
• Experience with Windows Server 2019+; SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS); PostgreSQL 16.x+; VMware; T-SQL; PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Maintain databases on SQL Server 2019+ and assist migrations.
• Build and implement automatic jobs for maintenance, archiving, and backups.
• Operate a virtualized data center using VMware with Dell/EMC storage.
• Install, support, and maintain servers; tune performance and storage allocation.
• Ensure integrity, confidentiality, availability via patch management and antivirus updates.
• Respond to outages and system-related inquiries and issues.
• Conduct systems analysis to keep systems current with new tech.
• Update and document configuration management and troubleshoot issues.
• Resolve and track trouble tickets using Serena Business Manager.
• Provide technical guidance to Tier 1 and 2 personnel.
