Job summary

Azusa Solutions LLC is seeking a Cleared Senior Software Engineer/System Engineer to join its team. A TS/SCI w/Poly clearance is required.

The candidate should be local to the DC/Maryland/Northern Virginia area, with remote or hybrid telework arrangements available for some positions. Responsibilities include leading encryption and key management development, productization work across DoD environments, and managing day-to-day project activities within a multi-quarter program through FY27.

Qualifications

• BS computer science or related field required or 8 years of equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of working experience in software engineering.
• Strong communication and ability to coordinate with team members and clients.
• Experience with Java development on Linux/Windows; C/C++ experience also acceptable.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust is highly desired.
• Extensive experience with REST APIs and modern software development practices.
• 5+ years of cryptographic experience and key management understanding.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience (8+ years preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead the productization effort for the mission-focused product suite across environments.
• Develop and integrate Encryption Libraries and Key Management Services.
• Plan, communicate status, and drive defect resolution within project teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet evolving requirements.
• Work independently in a matrix environment and manage multiple parts of projects.
