Job summary

Azusa Solutions LLC in the DC/MD region seeks a Cleared Senior Software Engineer/System Engineer to contribute to a multi-quarter DoD-focused productization program. The role emphasizes encryption libraries, key management, and cross‑platform interfaces within the broader OpenBao-based ecosystem.

Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI with Poly clearance, be local to the DC/Maryland/Virginia area, and demonstrate extensive Java/C/C++ development, cryptography, REST APIs, and cloud experience.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of working experience
• BS computer science or related field (or 8 years of equivalent work experience)
• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients
• Experience with Java development on Linux and Windows platforms is highly preferred
• Cryptographic experience and key management knowledge are desirable
• REST APIs, cloud platforms, and modern software development practices are expected

Responsibilities

• Lead changes to build Encryption Libraries and Key Management Services
• Establish and apply best practices for solution designs and project communication
• Manage day-to-day efforts toward project accomplishments
• Participate in project planning and project status communications
