Job summary

Yellow Duck Technologies is seeking a cleared Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex software systems for mission-critical operations. This role applies SAFe Agile methodologies to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

You will mentor juniors, lead architecture decisions, and ensure code quality and security across the stack. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in SAFe Program-level

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 4 years may substitute.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, Java, Go.
• Deep understanding of microservices, containerization, and orchestration.
• Extensive experience with DevSecOps practices and toolchains.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principles.
• Experience with distributed systems and message queuing (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ).
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical implementations.
