Job summary

Yellow Duck Technologies is seeking a cleared Senior System/Network Engineer to lead infrastructure design, deployment, and optimization for a unified solution. This role focuses on scalable, secure, cloud-native architectures and close collaboration with development teams.

Responsibilities include designing Kubernetes-based infrastructure, multicloud networking, IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and implementing monitoring, DR/HA, and RMF compliance. TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 10+ years of system/network engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree (or 4 years substitute) in a relevant field.
• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies.
• Deep understanding of network protocols, routing, and security.
• Experience designing multi-cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and related IaC tools.
• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
• Understanding of DoD security requirements and RMF.

This position provides technical leadership for complex infrastructure challenges, ensuring systems are scalable, resilient, and secure. The engineer works closely with development teams to implement cloud-native architectures and optimize system performance.
