Quevera is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to specialize in Java/C++ and cryptography for mission-critical DoD programs in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

You will contribute to productizing a suite of software across diverse environments, focusing on interfaces for authorization workflows and key management, while collaborating with multiple teams and ensuring secure software solutions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• 12+ years of working software experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (8+ years in lieu).
• Eight or more years of Java development on Linux and Windows.
• Experience with C or C++ and cryptography with key management.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust.

Responsibilities

• Support productization of a DoD software suite for broader DoD environments.
• Remove customer-specific dependencies and abstract environment configurations.
• Develop interfaces for authorization workflows and key management across environments.
• Collaborate across clients, Portal, Proxy services, and OpenBao-based services.
• Lead encryption libraries and key management services initiatives.
• Assist in migrating code from Low to High environments.
• Apply best practices for solution design and project execution.
• Engage with teams through planning, testing, and defect resolution.
• Manage day-to-day project progress and status communications.
