Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Cleared Security Officer (Unarmed) for a part-time, flex-schedule role in El Segundo, CA. Must have a valid DoD clearance and drivers license. Responsibilities include patrols, guest escort, reporting incidents, and acting as a first responder when needed.

Pay is $24.00 per hour with benefits for full-time positions and ongoing training. Qualifications include high school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience, DoD clearance, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Must possess one or more of the following:
• Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
• Prior military experience
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations
