Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Required - Unarmed). At Allied Universal, a Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As a Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.

Must possess and be able to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
2. Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
3. Greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
4. Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
5. Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms
6. Act as a first responder in emergency situations

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

1. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
2. Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance
3. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
4. Must possess one or more of the following:
1. Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
2. Prior military experience
3. Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
4. Exceptional customer service skills
5. Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

1. Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
2. Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
