Job Description

As a Cleared Security Officer - Armed Defense Site in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer in the aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This is an armed post, and you may be required to drive as part of your duties. You will interact with personnel and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour - Secret

$29.00 / Hour - Top Secret

$38.38 / Hour - Yankee White

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry to restricted areas as required by site protocols.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or irregularities according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for Texas roles only.
• An active Department of Defense Clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
