Job Description

As a Cleared Armed Security Officer - DOD Site in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an armed patrol officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. This role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with personnel, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. This is an armed post and may require driving as part of your responsibilities.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour - Secret

$29.00 / Hour - Top Secret

$38.38 / Hour - Yankee White

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, which may include areas related to aerospace and defense operations.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the location.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
• Follow all post orders and instructions specific to the location's requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Must have an Active Texas Armed Security License in hand.
• Must have Level III Armed Certification for Texas roles.
• Must hold an active Department of Defense Clearance.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
